Guestrell is a podcast player that follows people, not just shows. Follow a host or a guest, and when they turn up on a show you don't subscribe to, that episode lands in New. Every new episode waits in New until you choose Up Next, Shelf, Someday or Skip.

Join the public beta on TestFlight

Or follow @pageappshq on X for the launch.

Free to join. iPhone and iPad with iOS 17 or later. No account needed.

How to join

1. Install Apple's free TestFlight app from the App Store.
2. Open the link above on your iPhone or iPad and tap Accept, then Install.
3. TestFlight offers new builds as they come out. Beta builds expire after 90 days, so keep the latest one installed.

What to test

• Bring your shows over: import an OPML file from another podcast app (moving from Castro? see Coming from Castro?).
• Follow a person and check that their episodes on other shows turn up in New.
• Go through a batch of new episodes and move them into Up Next, Shelf, Someday and Skip.
• Playback: speed, chapters, skip intros and outros, downloads, the Apple Watch app and CarPlay.
